A Washington Technology Industry Association (WTIA) group dedicated to making the Cascadia region a global hub for blockchain development will hold what it’s billing as a blockchain unconference next month to discuss challenges and opportunities for blockchain companies and the overall ecosystem, according to a WTIA notice for the event.
“An unconference is a participant-driven event focused on discussion, ideation, and problem-solving,” the event notice says.
The free virtual event by the WTIA Cascadia Blockchain Council is open to all blockchain stakeholders, regardless of experience level or expertise, and members of the public interested in blockchain. It will be held Oct. 14 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Registration is available here.
Attendees will crowdsource topics from the community and work together to identify opportunities, overcome challenges, and create initiatives that promote blockchain development locally and across the country. The agenda also includes a keynote presentation, short presentations on blockchain topics to fuel afternoon discussions, breakout sessions, and networking.
