EY, a global provider of assurance, tax, transaction, and advisory services, honored Pacific Northwest entrepreneurs June 9 at Hyatt Regency Bellevue during the 31st Entrepreneur Of The Year awards ceremony.
Ten leading entrepreneurs from across the region were recognized during the event, which was attended by more than 500 Pacific Northwest business leaders.
Emceed by Northwest Regional Award Emmy Nominee and Q13 anchor Kaci Aitchison, award recipients included three Eastside entrepreneurs: Rodell Notbohm, CEO of Bothell-based Apollo Video Technology; and Rick and David Cantu, cofounders of Redmond-based Redapt Inc.
“This year’s award recipients are an incredible group of business leaders spurring unprecedented growth in our gorgeous corner of the world,” said Greg Beams, Entrepreneur Of The Year Pacific Northwest program director. “They truly exemplify the innovative thinking, disruptive business models and dynamic leadership that make the Pacific Northwest a great place to start and grow a business.”
Other award recipients included: Chad and Harlan Robins of Adaptive Biotechnologies Corporation, Stein Kruse of Holland America Group, Chris Diorio of Impinj, Jill Nelson of Ruby Receptionists, and Jaime Schmidt and Michael Cammarata of Schmidt’s Naturals.
Collectively, this year’s award recipients employ about 44,000 people and help drive economic stability in the Pacific Northwest, providing more than 6,900 jobs in the past year.
