Columbia Hospitality has added The Heathman Hotel to its Northwest portfolio
“The Heathman is a great addition to our expanding collection of unique hotels, and we are looking forward to working with its enthusiastic and talented team that shares Columbia Hospitality’s commitment to superior service,” John Oppenheimer, Columbia Hospitality founder and CEO, said in a press release. “We’re honored to have the opportunity to showcase our expertise in providing exceptional guest experiences at such an esteemed property that is right in our backyard.”
Under the new management and operating agreement, a renovation of the hotel’s 91 guestrooms and suites is slated for this year. The hotel already offers unique amenities to its guests like “The Art of Sleep” bed menu, which allows guests to select from three different bed types, including luxury pillow, Tempur-Pedic, or feather bed. However, after the renovation, guests also will enjoy a variety of other new features, including artwork created by Northwest artists in each room. Rooms also will be updated with new carpet, paint, base moldings, shears and curtains, lighting packages, and outlets and ports for charging electronic devices.

With exciting new changes coming to The Heathman in 2017, hotel guests can continue to enjoy the hotel’s private dining, meeting, and event spaces, the popular Trellis restaurant, and a variety of new amenities.
