You can vote now for Tesla STEM High School in Redmond to win fan favorite in Verizon’s Innovative Learning App Challenge. The high school already won a Best in State award and a Best Regional award in the contest. Tesla STEM High School is eligible to win Best In Nation.

Students at the high school designed Take Me There, an app that sources transportation information for people with accessibility challenges. It provides information about costs, walking distances, and accessibility ramps.

Winning the fan favorite award comes with a $15,000 prize and the chance to work with MIT Media Lab experts to bring the app into the real world.

This is the fifth year for the app challenge, in which students come up with concepts for mobile apps that solve problems in their schools and communities. Voting for fan favorite is underway now until Feb. 14.
