The newest hotel project in Bellevue is up for design review and public comment.
The Washington Square Hilton Garden Inn, located at 965 108th Ave. NE, is being developed by West 77 Partners. West 77 is affiliated with Wasatch Group in Logan, Utah, which owns the block and developed the Washington Square condos.
The six-story Hilton will have 254 rooms, and 187 underground parking stalls. The hotel is scheduled to open in 2016.
The project was designed by Jensen|Fey Architects in Redmond and Andersen Construction is the general contractor. Bellevue’s AJH Development Services is managing the project.
The city of Bellevue scheduled a public meeting for 6 p.m. Oct. 30 at Bellevue City Hall. The minimum comment period ends at 5 p.m. Oct. 16. Anyone wishing to comment on the project can send written comments to the Development Services Department.
The Hilton is the latest in a string of new hotels undergoing construction in Bellevue. Currently under construction are two Marriott hotels, one at 210 106th Place NE and the other at 200 110th Ave. NE.
Kemper Development also is building two hotels as part of its Bellevue Square and Lincoln Square expansions.
