Sekisui Chemical has completed its $510 million purchase of AIM Aerospace, a manufacturer of commercial aerospace products headquartered in Renton with additional facilities in Auburn and Sumner.
According to Sekisui Chemical, whose American headquarters are in Secaucus, N.J., the acquisition expands its Mobility Materials division, which currently targets automobiles and transportation.

This is the beginning of a great journey for our team.”
AIM Aerospace is now a wholly owned operating company within Sekisui Chemical. The subsidiary has officially changed its name to Sekisui Aerospace Corporation.
