Wahoo! The week we’ve been waiting for is back. Yup, Seattle Restaurant Week. Y’know, the one that celebrates delicious food for a great price that you didn’t have to lift a finger to make. Contrary to it’s name the event is 10 days long, from Oct. 18-22 and Oct. 25–29.

Restaurants joining in on the foodie festivities will offer a select dinner menu of three courses for $30. Some of the restaurants also are offering two-course lunches for $15.

The annual dining experience includes more than 165 restaurants, including a number of Eastside favorites including Bellevue’s Lot. 3, Woodinville’s Barking Frog, and the Woodmark Hotel’s Beach Café in Kirkland.

The team over at Beach Café are thrilled to once again take part in Seattle Restaurant Week.

“This event is a celebration of food, bringing the community together over the joy of a great meal, and that’s what Beach Café is all about,” said Christina Lehman, Beach Café marketing manager.

The restaurant, which overlooks Lake Washington, is offering Restaurant Week selections for lunch.

If you’re looking for a solid choice from Beach Café’s special Seattle Restaurant Week menu, Chef Matt Steffen recommends their new Cubano sandwich, which uses house-smoked pork belly, the finest quality ham from Snake River Farms, local peppers, and Tillamook cheese. Even the pickles are made in-house. Chef Steffen also recommends the Pike Brewery Derby Lager to accompany the sandwich. And now we know where our upcoming lunch meeting should be…
