This is what the most luxurious car in the world looks like

Starting at $450,000, the much-anticipated Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII recently celebrated its official release. Every eight years, a new Phantom is engineered and completely rebuilt to feature unparalleled design and technology.

The new Phantom is the first Rolls-Royce to be outfitted with all-aluminum underpinnings, making it lighter, stronger, and quieter. The 6.75 litre twin-turbo V12 engine with 563 horse power can take passengers from 0 to 60 miles an hour in 5.1 seconds is the Phantom’s “silently beating heart.”

Sitting inside of the massive Phantom, the sound of the engine is undetectable. It was engineered with more than four pounds of additional insulation for sound proofing, making it 10 percent quieter than the previous model.

As one would expect, the Phantom can be completely customized to the owner’s specifications, from the carpets and hand-stitched leather interior, to the starry lights on the interior roof of the vehicle.  “The Gallery” is an unprecedented feature, allowing owners to commission a work of art that spans the width of the dashboard. Anything desired can be accomplished. Adam Robertson with the Rolls-Royce dealership in Bellevue said he had one customer who requested that his DNA code be replicated in “The Gallery.”

As of Saturday, Robertson said he’d already taken nine orders for the new Phantom, a couple of which were placed by local professional athletes. In the past, the average Rolls-Royce owners were in their 60s, but the average demographic now is 44 years old. The new models are more modern and technologically advanced to attract a younger crowd. It also has the stature that can accommodate tall and brawn athletes that are too tall to fit in other sports vehicles.

Each car is built specifically for each owner and current orders will likely be completed and delivered in May 2018.
