Restaurants, bars, and other qualifying businesses impacted by COVID-19 and in need of emergency financial assistance are invited to apply for funding through the Restaurant Revitalization Fund grant program.
On April 28 and April 30 — at 9-10 a.m. and again at 1-2 p.m. — the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Seattle district office will conduct webinars to review the documentation requirements, formulations, answer questions, etc.
Business owners and their accountants are encouraged to attend as numerous tax and accounting documents are required to apply (registration in SAM is not required).
The amount of the awards can be equal to pandemic-related revenue loss up to $10 million per business (no more than $5 million per physical location). Recipients are not required to repay the funding as long as funds are used for eligible uses no later than March 11, 2023.
For the first 21 days, the SBA will prioritize reviewing small businesses owned by women, veterans, and socially and economically disadvantaged individuals (as self-certified, federal certification is not required).
