Hours of Happiness

Open daily for lunch and dinner, happy hour daily from 3–6 p.m.

There’s nothing like a bit of Southern comfort in the form of a steaming bowl of rich, creamy grits and grilled garlic shrimp — it’s like a hug in a bowl. The North Carolina-born chef at Redmond’s Urban Homestead presents a notably Southern-style menu of specials, including hush puppies, fried green tomatoes, chicken and dumplings, as well as biscuits and gravy. In the cold of winter, these are the comforts we appreciate the most. Shoppers will appreciate the convenience of picking up their meal and getting some shopping done. Urban Homestead is both a café and a locally-styled mercantile, stocked with pantry goods, eco-friendly household products, wine and beer, as well as fun things like houseplants and décor items.
