Bellevue’s Liberty Bank has named a new president and other new staff additions.

According to a press release, the bank has selected Alan Fulp as its new president and chief lending officer in Bellevue.

“I am excited to be back in Bellevue, where I started my banking career in Washington, working for a dynamic new bank office that will grow with our vibrant community,” Fulp said in a press release. “The people that we’ve added to our team represent dynamic, customer-centered individuals who are excited to serve our growing customer base.”

Fulp has been working in financial services for the last three decades, and first signed on at Liberty Bank “to return to his community banking roots,” according to the release.

Before joining the bank, Fulp had worked as the managing director of private banking for the Ascent Division of U.S. Bank and the senior relationship manager at The Commerce Bank of Washington. He also led Bellevue’s Core Business Bank as a chief operating officer and president, and he worked at both Charter Bank and Columbia Bank in commercial banker capacities, according to the release.

Other staff additions announced in the release include Aleecia Poulsen (treasury management officer and customer service manager), Christina Beason (vice president and senior relationship manager), and Tony Vounn (senior credit analyst).
