The international luxury real estate boutique Engel & Völkers is opening its first set of offices in the Puget Sound.
Engel & Völkers originated in Germany in 1977, providing “exclusive, high-end real estate services,” and is branching out with an office in Mercer Island, Seattle, and more planned elsewhere on the Eastside. The boutique specializes in the rental and sale of premium residential property, to include yachts and aircraft.
The Seattle office at the base of the Fairmont Olympic Hotel on University Street is currently open, and the Mercer Island location will launch in March.
“As a prestigious global player, Engel & Völkers brings an unsurpassed level of customer service to the luxury home-buying and selling process,” said co-owner Christine Warjone in a statement, who, along with her husband Jim, former Chairman and CEO of Port Blakely Companies, are bringing the Engel & Völkers brand to the local market.
Gabriel Ciuca, the Seattle shop’s designated broker added: “Our model is unique in the industry. We are proud of the level of support we have for our team, offering an array of premium marketing programs and tools, multiple platforms for mobile, social and web, in addition to access to our global network of real estate professionals, property listings and market data.”
The boutique has more than 800 locations in 30 countries and 10,000 agents.
