Several hundred small-business entrepreneurs expected to meet in Renton this month for the 21st Annual Washington Small Business Fair

The event, also known as Biz Fair, aims to sharpen attendees’ business skills and facilitate access to key small-business resources by offering more than 20 helpful seminars led by business leaders with expertise in areas such as business law, cybersecurity, finance, marketing, networking, social media, and more. The Biz Fair’s Exhibitor Resource Center will be staffed by representatives from government agencies, trade organizations, and nonprofits that support small businesses.

Biz Fair is hosted by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Seattle District Office.

“From its inception, the Biz Fair Planning Committee recognized the importance of putting on this event with a strict no-sales policy, which continues to this day,” said SBA Seattle District Director Kerrie Hurd. “The no-sales policy sets the tone for the day to be about education and free resources.”

Biz Fair will be held at Renton Technical College on Sat., Sept. 30, between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. More information is available online at
