Suncadia Resort, located 80 miles east of Seattle, had more than $55 million in closed real estate sales. Many Eastsiders are among Suncadia’s home owners.
The resort community had 133 real estate transactions for homes, homesites, and condominiums since January 2015. The median home price is $810,000, compared to a $448,600 median price for a single-family home in King County.
“There is a strong community of homeowners here at Suncadia who enjoy just getting away to relax for the weekend, or spending a few weeks at a time to immerse themselves in our mountain retreat culture,” Richard Seay, vice president and director of sales and marketing, said in a statement.
More than 40 percent of sales were a result of referrals from friends, family, or business associates, Seay said.
Properties first became available in 2003, and since then 715 condos and homes have been completed. There are nine different neighborhoods with contrasting styles ranging from river access, to resort village, to exclusive communities, to dramatic view homes.
Suncadia will host a monthly Tour of Homes on Feb. 14 and March 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The public is invited to tour available properties.
