Taste buds in the Pacific Northwest are rejoicing during this March. Dine Around Seattleis back and celebrating its 15th year of chef-inspired three-course meals  at some of the best local restaurants in the area.

The brainchild of Ponti’s Seafood Grillowner Richard Malia and one of his managers, Dine Around Seattle was created to bring the community together through food with friends. The bi-annual event encourages foodies to gather at local restaurants that specialize in crafting cuisine using regional farms, ranches, breweries, distilleries and independent food artisans.

Restaurants participating in the month long event (Sundays through Thursdays) offer three-course menus consisting of one appetizer, an entrée and a dessert for only $33 and many restaurants are lining up a lunch menu for just $18. Gratuity, beverages and Sunday brunch are not included.

Not only does the event help out your favorite neighborhood joints, but Dine Around Seattle operates under the Seattle Good Business Network non-profit status and helps provide support to local food related, non-profit groups. This March, Umpqua Bank is helping the cause by pledging a $1 donation for every reservation placed through dinearoundseattle.orgthat will benefit the Rainer Valley Food Bank.

It may be named Dine Around Seattle, but 425 area restaurants are ready to partake in the event celebrating good food with good company for a good cause.
