Women and men who care about the impact women have in the tech industry are invited to join New Tech Northwest for its Women in Tech event today from 5 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. at One Bellevue Center.

The event will provide attendees the opportunity to network with other tech workers and listen to company presentations from Tammarrian Rogers of ADA Academy, Martha Burwell of Catalyze Seattle, Cheryl Ingram of Diverse City, and Lori Dey of Ebay’s eWIT Program.

“We hope to bring together women and men who are interested in building more inclusivity and diversity in their companies to share resources with each other and help each other,” said New Tech Northwest founder, Brett Greene. “The format of our events is designed to help people share with, and learn from, like-minded (people) with resources and ideas they may not know about.”

This is the second Women in Tech event New Tech Northwest has hosted in Bellevue. The organization also has hosted two similar events in Seattle. In addition to its Women in Tech events, New Tech Northwest also offers annual Diversity in Tech events in Bellevue and Seattle, providing regular opportunities for tech workers to come together to celebrate the progress the Eastside and Seattle are making toward making the tech industry more inclusive and diverse.
