The Redmond-based center serves children with autism and other neuro-developmental disabilities to help them acquire lifelong skills for a productive and meaningful life through Applied Behavior Analysis. This is done by providing a comprehensive treatment plan and executing that plan with the client and their family in a clinic environment and also in the home when needed.
“At Eastside ABA, we take pride in the dedication and strength of our team, organizational integrity, and commitment to producing behavioral, social, and academic outcomes for our clients,” said Eastside ABA executive director Paul Johnson. “We are thrilled to be honored by BHCOE with this Award of Distinction and our team looks forward to providing ethical and effective behavioral services throughout the Seattle/Bellevue/Redmond area for years to come.”
The BHCOE award is earned by exceptional special needs providers that excel in the areas of clinical quality, staff satisfaction and qualifications, as well as client satisfaction. These categories are measured through a wide-ranging audit which includes interviews with the provider’s clinical leadership, a detailed staff qualification review, anonymous staff satisfaction survey, and an anonymous consumer satisfaction survey ensuring only the most elite providers make the cut.
“Eastside ABA is an agency that is invested in the achievements of their clients with developmental disabilities, which is shown in their attention to clinical quality in addition to maintaining consumer and staff satisfaction. This organization utilizes best practices in ABA and actively works to ensure ethical scaling,” said Sara Gershfeld, founder of BHCOE. “We are excited to commend the executive director, Paul Johnson, co-clinical directors Julea Leiter and Amber Pryor, and their organization on creating a sustainable program that is an outstanding resource for the Seattle area autism community and beyond.”
