Redmond-based CyberTraining 365 has teamed up with the International Consortium of Minority Cybersecurity Professionals (ICMCP) to provide expert training to cybersecurity newcomers.
The partnership will provide 100 ICMCP members with 6 months of free access to CyberTraining 365’s online academy, and — over the next two years — ICMCP also will be awarding $33,000 worth of additional cybersecurity training to its members.
“As a nonprofit association that is dedicated to the academic and professional success of minority cybersecurity students and professionals, we are always looking for ways to expand our membership as well as member benefits to continue to build a diverse workforce, contribute to building a sustainable flow of talent, and directly supporting other organizations doing the same,” ICMCP president Aric K. Perminter said in a press release. “CyberTraining 365 is a world class organization dedicated to the same vision.”
This recent partnership follows CyberVet 365, a training and scholarship opportunity CyberTraining 365 launched last year to help leverage underrepresented soft-skills and provide training to future cybersecurity leaders.
