The dual-branded Aloft and Element Hotel Development, created by Minneapolis-based CSM Corporation, has opened less than a mile from the Microsoft and Nintendo of America headquarters in Redmond.
The two hotels are located inside one building and share 7,600 square feet of event space, meeting rooms, an all-natural saline pool, and fitness facility. Aloft offers 150 rooms and touts being “tech-forward” with “modern style” and a “vibrant experience.” Element has 131 rooms and accommodates extended stays “for those who are passionate about the planet and their own well-being.” Sustainable elements carry throughout the rooms, which are lavished in natural light.
“CSM Corporation is proud to deliver hotels that are equally stylish and technically advanced for a tech-forward community like Redmond,” said Steve Schlundt, CSM’s president of lodging and residential, in a press release. “Guests from around the world will enjoy all the space and amenities that will allow them to be comfortable and in control whether they’re working or relaxing.”
Starwood’s Aloft now has 100 hotels in 16 countries and there are 18 Element Hotels worldwide. CSM Corporation builds has a portfolio of more than 6,000 rooms, and operates brands including Carlson, Hilton, Hyatt and Marriot.
