Seattle-Tacoma International Airport

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is about to get much busier, thanks to a variety of construction projects.

The Central Terminal Renovation Project will add more than 10,000 square feet of dining and retail space, with a second floor of restaurants, family-friendly seating, and charging stations.

Also underway: the modernization of the dated North Satellite; an updated internal baggage system; a hardstand facility for Concourse D; and a state-of-the-art International Arrivals Facility, which will include a massive sky bridge tall enough for aircraft to pass underfoot.

Downtown Bellevue’s first new high-rise condo community in nearly 10 years, One88 by Bosa is located at 120 Bellevue Way N.E. and will offer more than 140 one-, two-, and three-bedroom residential units and nearly 300 parking stalls when it is completed in 2019.

Brio Apartments

Located at 1021 112th Ave. N.E. on the site of the former Puget Sound Blood Center, this 23-story Bellevue tower by Su Development will have more than 250 residential units with a 30,000-square-foot podium for commercial, retail, and restaurant space. Tours of the space are scheduled to begin in early 2019.

East Link Light Rail — Bellevue Segments

As Sound Transit continues to bring East Link — the Eastside extension of Link Light Rail — to reality, drivers and pedestrians still will feel the growing pains. Currently six East Link stations, as well as the downtown tunnel in Bellevue, are being constructed in staggered segments. These projects are expected to begin reaching completion beginning in early 2020, with a projected end date of 2023.


Located on the south shore of Lake Washington, The Southport office campus will ultimately feature a mixed-use, 17.1-acre waterfront development with three nine-story buildings, offering 727,634 square feet of Class A office space and 695,159 square feet of parking. The project is reaching completion this year, with occupancy as early as December.
