Comcast has announced two new senior appointments today in its Washington region. The appointments will bring more than 50 years of experience to Comcast’s leadership team in Lynwood. Both coming from outside of the division, they will now serve the 1.6 million residential and business customers in Washington.
Rodrigo Lopez is the new leader for the company’s Washington region. In this role, Lopez will manage all of Comcast’s business throughout the state, which serves millions and employs more than 4,500 people. He replaces Amy Lynch, who is the new leader for the Comcast Mountain West region.

Lopez has 26 years of leadership experience with Comcast. He has been named to Cablefax Magazine’s Top 100 Regional Power Players, and has been named one of the most influential minority executives in the industry for the last three years.
Robert Brenner is the new Vice President of Comcast Business in Washington. In this role, he will manage Comcast Business’ operations and the statewide expansion of the company’s business technology and services. Brenner replaces Matthew Fassnacht who was named National Vice President of Comcast Business’ Enterprise Solutions division.

With 27 years of experience, Brenner most recently served as Area Vice President of Sales for Seattle-based Outreach. Before that, Brenner worked for Bellevue-based T-Mobile for 19 years, where he served as Regional Director and Senior Director of T-Mobile’s Western U.S. Region. Brenner is a Military Veteran and former Captain with the United States Army and has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering & HR Management from the United States Military Academy, West Point, NY.
