The Bellevue Office of Economic Development and Sound Transit will host a forum on Nov. 14 from 7:30-9:30 a.m. at City Hall providing Bellevue businesses with an overview of the East Link light rail construction.
The forum aims to help local business owners by providing them with the information they need to prepare themselves and their employees for the construction that will begin in Bellevue next year.
The program will include information about plans for construction within Bellevue, best practices for mitigating impact from construction, and information regarding transit options for workers.
During the event, the Bellevue Office of Economic Development and Sound Transit will be joined by representatives from other community organizations, including the U.S. Small Business Administration, Bellevue Downtown Association, and the city’s Small Business Development Center. Project managers will also be in attendance to answer questions about other city initiatives and projects.
Individuals interested in attending the forum can register online.
