We’ve said it once, and we’ll say it again. Bellevue is getting taller.

Last week, Bellevue-based architect firm MZA Architects confirmed it is working on four 40-story towers to be located along Eighth Avenue NE between 110th Ave NE and 108th Ave NE.

According to the developer, Plus Investment USA, the project will have four towers that will include high-rise residential, luxyry hotel, retail, restaurants, entertainment, and office spaces. The development will be situated on a 4.62 acre site, where First Congregational Church and Yuen Lui currently are located.

The project will be completed in two phases. The first will be two towers consisting of 355 condos and 435 apartments. Retail stores and restaurants will use ground-level spaces of the two towers. This phase also would include 1,200 parking spaces and outdoor open spaces. Construction is expected to begin this fall and be complete in 2019.

MZA Architects refers to the project as Bellevue International Plaza, though Plus Investments USA lists the project as Park 8 Bellevue Center on its website.

Both the developer and architect have offices in Bellevue and have projects in the U.S. and China.
