Are you a startup interested in expanding your global presence? Then Startup 425’s Global Passport program could be for you.

The program, which takes place in January 2017 and costs $750 to attend, is centered around mobile tech companies interested in learning how they can expand their sales internationally.

The Global Passport program will provide selected startups with access to a variety of export training workshops designed to prepare them to sell their products and expand their presence in markets like Europe, for example. The workshops cover topics ranging from international IP protection and financing global expansion, to localizing your product, international market analysis, and cultural considerations for marketing and sales pitches.

Startups also will have the opportunity to join the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain from Feb. 27-March 3, 2017. The Mobile World Congress pavilion will put export training skills acquired during the Global Passport program to the test through B2B meetings with international companies.

Supported by the cities of Kirkland, Bellevue, Issaquah, and Renton, Startup 425 is a collaborative effort to make entrepreneurial opportunities more accessible to communities across the Eastside. In addition the the Global Passport program, Startup 425 provides resources, events, and networking opportunities for young Eastside-based businesses.
